Bahamas Visa Guide

Overview

Indian passport holders do not require a visa to enter the Bahamas for tourism purposes, but they must meet certain requirements. They can stay for up to 8 months without a visa. Indians must apply for an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) prior to their flight to the Bahamas. The eTA is usually processed instantly, but it's recommended to apply at least 72 hours before the flight.

• 8Travel insurance
• 9Proof of sufficient funds (BSD 200 [approx ₹14,000] per day)

Application Process

   Apply for eTA

   Go to the official Bahamas immigration website (https://immigration.gov.bs/) and fill out the eTA application form

   Pay the eTA fee

   There is no fee for the eTA, but you may need to pay for any additional services

   Submit required documents

   Upload the required documents, including your passport, photograph, and travel itinerary

4. 4

   Receive eTA approval

   You will receive an email with your eTA approval, which you must print and carry with you when traveling to the Bahamas
