Burundi Visa Guide

Overview

Indian citizens can obtain a tourist visa on arrival at Bujumbura International Airport. The visa is valid for 30 days and can be extended for an additional 30 days. The visa fee is payable in USD and is non-refundable. Indians are advised to carry a valid return ticket, proof of sufficient funds, and a hotel reservation or invitation letter.

Application Process

   Apply for a visa on arrival

   Visit the Bujumbura International Airport and proceed to the visa on arrival counter. Fill out the application form and submit it along with the required documents.

   Pay the visa fee

   The visa fee is payable in USD and is non-refundable. Make sure to have the exact amount in cash.

3. 3

   Submit the documents

   Submit the completed application form, recent passport photograph, and required documents to the visa on arrival counter.

4. 4

   Collect the visa

   Once the visa is processed, collect it from the visa on arrival counter and proceed to the immigration counter for clearance.
