Ethiopia Visa Guide

Overview

Indian citizens can apply for an e-visa online through the official government website. The e-visa is valid for 30 days from the date of entry and allows for a single entry. The e-visa is not extendable. Indians must have a confirmed return flight ticket and sufficient funds for the duration of their stay. The e-visa is not required for transit passengers.

Required Documents

• 4Confirmed return flight tickets
• 5Hotel booking confirmation
• 6Bank statement last 3 months (min balance)
• 7Employment proof / ITR / salary slips
• 8Travel insurance
• 9Yellow fever vaccination certificate (if traveling from or through yellow fever endemic areas)

Application Process

1. 1

   Fill the online application form

   Visit the official e-visa website (https://www.evisa.gov.et/) and fill the online application form with required details. Make sure to upload a recent passport photograph and a scanned copy of the first page of the passport.

   Pay the visa fee

   Pay the visa fee online using a credit or debit card. The fee is non-refundable.

3. 3

   Submit the application

   Submit the application form after filling all the required details and paying the visa fee.

4. 4

   Receive the e-visa

   The e-visa will be sent to the applicant's email address within a few minutes of submitting the application. Print the e-visa and carry it along with the passport while traveling to Ethiopia.
