France Visa Guide

Overview

Indian passport holders need a valid short stay uniform Schengen visa to travel to France for tourism, with a maximum stay of 90 days over any 180 days. The visa is not valid for overseas French territories. France Schengen visa processing typically takes 15 working days from receiving a complete application.

Required Documents

• 10Travel insurance valid for all Schengen Countries, covering at least €30,000

Application Process

   Start visa application

   Visit Atlys, choose France as your destination, and start the visa application process by entering your details.

   Enter passport details

   Enter your passport details and additional details depending on your employment status.

   Choose appointment date

   Choose an appointment date at least 6 months to two weeks before your departure date.

   Pay fees and reserve appointment

   Pay the fees and reserve your appointment.

   Submit documents

   Go to the visa application centre on your scheduled date and submit your documents.

   Complete biometrics

   Provide biometric data (fingerprints and facial scans) unless you have submitted this data within the last 59 months.

   Wait for processing

   Wait for the processing of your visa application to be completed.

8. 8

   Receive passport with visa

   Once approved, your passport with a France tourist visa stamp will be delivered directly to your home.
