Iran Visa Guide

Overview

Indian citizens can obtain an e-visa for Iran. The e-visa is valid for 30 days and allows for a single entry. The e-visa can be applied for through the official government website. The e-visa is not extendable. Indians are advised to use a VPN when accessing the internet in Iran due to restrictions on certain websites and apps.

Application Process

1. 1

   Fill out the online application form

   Visit the official government website https://visa.gov.ir/en and fill out the online application form. Make sure to fill out the form accurately and completely.

   Upload required documents

   Upload a scanned copy of your passport, a recent passport photograph, and any other required documents. Make sure the documents are in the correct format and size.

   Pay the e-visa fee

   Pay the e-visa fee of IRR 1,000,000 (approx ₹24,500) through the official website. Make sure to keep the payment receipt for future reference.

4. 4

   Receive the e-visa

   Once the application is approved, the e-visa will be sent to the applicant's email address. Make sure to print out the e-visa and bring it with you to Iran.

5. 5

   Collect the visa on arrival

   When you arrive in Iran, present the printed e-visa to the immigration officer and collect your visa on arrival.
