Italy Visa Guide

Overview

Indian passport holders can apply for a Schengen visa to visit Italy for tourism purposes. The visa is not available as an e-visa and must be applied for at the Italian Embassy or Consulate in India. The visa allows for a stay of up to 90 days within a 180-day period. Indians must apply at least 15 days prior to their intended travel date. There are special rules for Indians, such as the need for a confirmed return flight ticket and proof of sufficient funds.

Application Process

   Fill the online application form on the official Italian Embassy or Consulate website, print and sign it

   Book appointment

   Book an appointment at the Italian Embassy or Consulate in India through their website or by calling their helpline

   Submit application

   Submit the application and supporting documents at the Italian Embassy or Consulate on the appointed date

   Pay fee

   Pay the visa application fee in cash or by card at the Italian Embassy or Consulate
