Kazakhstan Visa Guide

Overview

Indian passport holders can visit Kazakhstan visa-free for up to 14 days. This was introduced in 2023 under a bilateral agreement. No prior visa application is needed — simply arrive with a valid Indian passport. For stays beyond 14 days, an e-visa or regular visa is required. Register with local authorities (ePol system) within 3 days of arrival if staying in a private residence; hotels handle this automatically.

Application Process

   Fill the online application form

   Visit the official website of the Kazakh Ministry of Internal Affairs and fill the online application form. Upload the required documents and pay the fee.

2. 2

   Pay the visa fee

   Pay the visa fee using a credit or debit card. The fee is non-refundable, even if the application is rejected.

3. 3

   Wait for the visa to be processed

   Wait for 4-5 working days for the visa to be processed. The status of the application can be checked online.

4. 4

   Print the e-visa

   Once the visa is approved, print the e-visa and carry it with you when traveling to Kazakhstan.
