Overview
Indian citizens can apply for a tourist visa at the Myanmar embassy or consulate in India. The visa is valid for 3 months from the date of issue and allows a stay of up to 30 days. The visa can be extended for an additional 15 days. Indians can also apply for an e-visa, which is valid for 3 months from the date of issue and allows a stay of up to 28 days. The e-visa can be applied for online through the official website.

Application Process

Submit online application
Visit the official e-visa website and fill out the online application form. Upload the required documents and pay the application fee.

Pay application fee
The application fee is USD 50 (approx โน4,200) for a tourist visa. Payment can be made online through a credit/debit card.

Submit biometric data
Once the application is submitted, the applicant will need to submit biometric data at a designated embassy or consulate in India.

Wait for approval
The application will be processed within 4-5 working days. Once approved, the e-visa will be sent to the applicant's email address.

Print e-visa
The applicant will need to print the e-visa and present it at the port of entry in Myanmar.

Present e-visa at port of entry
The applicant will need to present the printed e-visa at the port of entry in Myanmar, along with their passport and other required documents.
Tips for Approval
