Overview
Indian citizens can apply for a Short Stay Visa to visit the Netherlands for tourism, visiting family or friends, or business purposes. The visa application can be submitted at the Netherlands Embassy or Consulate in India, or at a Visa Application Centre (VAC). The maximum stay allowed is 90 days within a 180-day period. Indians must apply for a visa prior to their trip as there is no visa on arrival or e-visa available.

Fill and submit the application form
Download and fill the application form from the official Netherlands government website, then submit it at the Netherlands Embassy or Consulate in India, or at a Visa Application Centre (VAC) in India

Collect all the required documents, including a valid passport, recent photograph, flight tickets, hotel booking, and bank statement

Pay the visa fee
Pay the visa fee of EUR 80 (approx โน7,200) in cash or by credit/debit card at the VAC or Embassy/Consulate

Attend the biometric data collection
Attend the biometric data collection at the VAC or Embassy/Consulate, where your fingerprints will be taken
Tips for Approval
- โApply for the visa at least 15 days prior to your trip to avoid any last-minute issues
- โEnsure that your passport has at least two blank pages for the visa sticker
- โMake sure to have a valid travel insurance that covers you for the entire duration of your stay in the Netherlands
