Papua New Guinea Visa Guide

Overview

Indian citizens can apply for a Visitor Visa to Papua New Guinea. The e-visa is available for a stay of up to 60 days. The visa is usually processed within 4-5 working days. Indians must have a valid passport with at least 6 months' validity and 2 blank pages. The visa fee is PGK 100 (approximately ₹2,400).

Application Process

   Download and complete the Visitor Visa Application Form

   Download the form from the official website of the Papua New Guinea Immigration Department (https://www.immigration.gov.pg/). Fill in the form accurately and sign it.

   Gather required documents

   Collect all the required documents, including a valid passport, recent passport photograph, confirmed return flight tickets, hotel booking confirmation, bank statement, employment proof, travel insurance, and invitation letter.

   Submit the application

   Submit the completed application form and required documents to the Papua New Guinea Immigration Department through the official website or in person at the Port Moresby office.

   Pay the visa fee

   Pay the visa fee of PGK 100 (approximately ₹2,400) through the official website or at the Port Moresby office.

   Wait for the visa to be processed

   Wait for the visa to be processed, which usually takes 4-5 working days.

   Collect the visa

   Collect the visa from the Port Moresby office or have it sent to you through the postal service.
