Portugal Visa Guide

Overview

Indians can apply for a Schengen Tourist Visa to visit Portugal. The visa is usually processed within 4-5 working days. The visa allows a stay of up to 90 days within a 180-day period. Indians must apply for the visa at the Portuguese Embassy or Consulate in India. The visa is usually valid for 3 months from the date of issue.

Application Process

   Gather required documents

   Collect all the required documents and ensure they are in order. You can download the visa application form from the official website of the Portuguese Embassy or Consulate in India.

   Fill the application form

   Fill the application form accurately and completely. Make sure to sign the form in the presence of the visa officer.

   Submit the application

   Submit the application form along with the required documents to the Portuguese Embassy or Consulate in India. You can submit the application in person or through a trusted friend or family member.

   Pay the application fee

   Pay the application fee of EUR 60 (approx ₹5,400) + INR 1,500 (service charge) at the bank counter or through online payment gateway.

   Attend the interview

   Attend the interview at the Portuguese Embassy or Consulate in India. The visa officer will ask you questions about your travel plans, purpose of visit, and other relevant details.

6. 6

   Collect the visa

   Collect the visa from the Portuguese Embassy or Consulate in India after the interview. The visa will be issued within 4-5 working days.
