Overview
Indians must obtain an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorisation) before or on arrival in Sri Lanka. The process is quick and mostly online. Sri Lanka offers ancient temples, beaches, wildlife safaris, and tea plantations — very popular with South Indians.

Visit eta.gov.lk and fill in the ETA application. Enter passport details and travel dates.

Approved ETA arrives by email. Print it or save a digital copy.

Travel to Sri Lanka
Present ETA approval and passport at Colombo Bandaranaike Airport immigration.
