Sweden Visa Guide

Overview

Indians can apply for a Schengen visa to visit Sweden. The visa is usually processed within 4-5 working days. The visa allows a stay of up to 90 days within a 180-day period. Indians must apply for a Schengen visa at the Swedish Embassy in New Delhi or the Swedish Consulate in Mumbai. The visa application must be submitted in person, and biometric data will be collected.

Required Documents

• 9Proof of sufficient funds (SEK 450 per day)
• 10Invitation letter from host in Sweden (if applicable)

Application Process

   Submit Application

   Submit the application form and required documents in person at the Swedish Embassy in New Delhi or the Swedish Consulate in Mumbai. The application must be submitted between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

   Biometric Data Collection

   Biometric data will be collected during the application submission process.

   Application Review

   The application will be reviewed by the Swedish Embassy or Consulate.

   Interview (if required)

   An interview may be conducted as part of the application review process.

   Visa Decision

   The visa decision will be made within 4-5 working days.

   Visa Collection

   The visa can be collected from the Swedish Embassy or Consulate on the specified collection date.
