Switzerland Visa Guide

Overview

Indians can apply for a Schengen Tourist Visa to visit Switzerland. The visa is usually processed within 4-5 working days. The visa allows a stay of up to 90 days within a 180-day period. Indians must apply for the visa at the Swiss Embassy or Consulate in India. The visa is usually valid for 3 months from the date of issue.

Application Process

   Gather required documents and fill the application form

   Download the Schengen Visa Application Form (D-Form) from the official website of the Swiss Embassy or Consulate in India. Fill the form accurately and sign it.

   Submit the application at the Swiss Embassy or Consulate

   Submit the application form, supporting documents, and the required fee at the Swiss Embassy or Consulate in India. The address of the Swiss Embassy in New Delhi is: Swiss Embassy, 6/50 G, Shantipath, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi 110021.

   Pay the visa fee

   Pay the visa fee of CHF 64 (approx ₹5,400) at the Swiss Embassy or Consulate in India.

   Attend an interview (if required)

   In some cases, the applicant may be required to attend an interview at the Swiss Embassy or Consulate in India. The interview will be conducted to assess the applicant's eligibility for the visa.

   Collect the visa

   Once the application is processed, the applicant can collect the visa from the Swiss Embassy or Consulate in India.
